Sometimes we need to just let go of the expectations we put on ourselves, or that society projects on to motherhood. We can become overwhelmed with anxiety because of the pressure to do things a certain way or attain certain things for our children.
Sometimes it’s good to be reminded that you can take a step back and let go of these expectations and just be the amazing mum you already are. It can be easier said than done, but when you really, deeply think about it, what’s the worst that can happen to your kids by you just being wonderful you?
